Interpretation

Aalaa Translation Company offers various types of interpreting:

• Simultaneous interpreting
• Consecutive interpreting
• Whispering interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting requires the use of interpreting booths and the relevant audio equipment (earphones, microphones, wiring). Each booth is occupied by two interpreters with the same mother tongue who work in a relay system, translating what the speakers say, as and when they speak.

Consecutive interpreting requires the presence of the interpreter in the room, close to the speaker, or seated in a round-table situation. The speaker stops speaking at regular intervals to allow the interpreter time to translate the preceding part of the speech by referring to notes.

Whispering means interpreting what is being said in a low voice at the side of one or two people participating in a meeting.
